One of my favorite new daily reads is MADE. She has a ton of fun sewing ideas, mainly for little ones. And since one of my 30 Before 30 must dos is learning how to sew, I've been stalking her site for doable projects.
I finally found one that I had to try and I LOVE how it turned out. I turned a well-loved but too tiny Beatles tee (turns out bare midriffs are not fashionable for 28 yr olds who have recently given birth) into this precious dress for #2.
Check out Dana's site for this tutorial and more creative ideas if you're the sewing type. And if you're not, just send your cool-but-no-longer-worn tees my way. Thanks!

Keep up the great work! I would be thrilled to have you share this at my VIP party this weekend =) http://designergarden.blogspot.com/2011/04/vip-party-10.html
