Making an Entrance: Part 2

So when we left off, I was telling you that on Good Friday of 2009, B Daddy and I uppped the timeline on replacing our front door by putting a big long crack right down the middle of it.

However "upping" a timeline is a very subjective measure around here, as we still took 11 months to get around to choosing, buying and installing a new front door. But I think it was well worth the wait....what do you think?

I think painting the porch floor might be my favorite part of this whole transformation. It definitely needs a few plants to add some life and color; but turning my brown thumb green is a different story for a different day!
